A new beginging

Until this year I have been using very crappy glow in the dark skulls as a base for my corpse props, I finally broke down and bought a decent quality skull to work with was only $16 compared to $7 for the old but it is a huge difference. I've already aged the plastic and done some work on the teeth.

2009 Scarecrow contest

In october of 2009 I learned that knox county was having its first scarecrow contest. Being out of work at the time I was only able to start work on my entry about a 4 days before the start of the contest. Not only did I manage to get my entry finished but I won First place. Here are a few pics of Loomis during construction and the finished product. ( I was still using the same cheap plastic skulls that was the basis of the others)

My first experiments with latex

About a year later I started working with latex and cheap plastic skulls the results were dramatically better. Meet Eddie, Carl, Harvy, and Lester

In the Beginning.....

Almost 5 years ago I decided to start making my own Halloween decorations. I started out by making a single hand carved skull and hand out of foam insulation. The result was not what I had hoped for and kind of cheesy.
